We're having another open house event for all at Ruth Stone House!
4-7pm 788 Hathaway Road, Goshen VT

These gatherings are geared towards conversation, neighbors coming together, meeting new people, gathering old friends and seeing what we can do to nurture poetry and the arts in our community! We love to show people around this nationally recognized historical landmark, so you can see our progress in fixing it up. We'll have information on hand about our Capital Campaign, we're in the midst of, and how you can be a part of it.

As always, we'll have the Vandercook letterpress printer ready to go, and you can learn about printing and even try it yourself! Free poetry broadsides to take home. We'll have drinks and snacks from local businesses, and feel free to bring your own to share!

The last part of the evening whoever wishes can gather on the porch to share a poem, and we'll end with our featured reader Christine Hou! Books available.

Children and pups are welcome!

I will be on hand as a resource to talk about poetry in Vermont and a new reading-lecture series I'll be unveiling in the coming weeks for the Vermont poet laureate project.
