Join the Walden Community Library for a Pie & Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 22 from 2-4 PM! All are welcome to help us celebrate the end of summer with some sweet treats! We will honor our summer readers with prizes, and are hosting a CLiF (Children's Literacy Foundation) storytelling presentation and book giveaway. Join us in welcoming Duncan McDougall for an engaging, all-ages storytelling event.

If you are interested in donating a pie, please contact Tammy at thall0722@gmavt.net or 802-881-9779. Last year we had at least 14 different kinds of pie to sample! Let's make it a great spread again this year as we celebrate our community.

The library is located at 135 Cahoon Farm Rd, in a separate building behind the school.
