Just a quick note to let you know that Skip Gorman will be presenting his deep Americana and traditional folk music concert this Sunday, rain or shine. Skip has an extensive knowledge of the old timey music structures and associated instruments, such as banjo, dobro, mandolin, guitar, and other stringed instruments I don't even know the names of. Some of which are homemade in the tradition of the original artisans. He has had his scored music as part of several Ken Burns documentaries, most recently American Buffalo. His show will be entertaining as well as educational, and not to be missed.

As for venue, we will try and have or standard outdoor event; however, if rain is pending (this week due to another lingering hurricane remnant) we will move the show to the Westford Common Hall, who have graciously made it available for such a weather occurrence. Last week we did this for Shellhouse, which turned out to be wonderful show for the few people who showed up for it. Hoping more will attend this week if rain moves us inside. I will also put up a sign on the gazebo, to let everyone who shows up that the event has been moved to the Common Hall.

Again, free show (but tips welcomed) and BYO picnic goodies, blankets, chairs, etc. for outdoor comfort. Hopefully taco truck, ice cream lady, and Westford Country Store will also be available for tasty treats on the go.
