Sterling College will again be hosting our weekly Community Dinner this Friday, August 9th 2024 in our Dunbar Dining Hall from 4:30pm-6:00pm. This meal is free to all who attend and open to anyone in the greater Craftsbury Community.
The menu this week will be a Picadillo Taco Bar featuring ground beef from NewGRASS Farmstead in Wolcott, VT, grilled flour tortillas and homemade tortillas (if we don't mess them up), and all of the fixings under the sun...well it'll likely be rain but you get where we're going. Dessert is Tres Leches cake, back by popular demand. All diets are accommodated - even the picky ones.
This event has been very well attended the last couple of weeks, especially considering my lack of broadcasting on here this summer (oops - sorry!), and I felt it was important to let everyone know - as many mouths have inquired - that YES! we will be continuing our Community Dinners throughout the Fall Semester.
We will NOT be having a Community Dinner NEXT Friday 8/16/24 as our farm interns, students and staff will be taking a much needed break after a very hot, humid and busy summer season. We will be back to business as usual on Friday 8/23/24 with the start of our Fall programming.
Dinner starts at 4:30. Donations welcome, but not necessary, monetary or not - we love mugs!
