The Statewide Primary Day is Tuesday, August 13, 2024. The Hyde Park polls will be located in the lower-level meeting room of the Town Municipal Building on August 13, 2024, and will be open from 7:00am to 7:00pm. The physical address is 344 VT 15 W, Hyde Park, VT 05655.
The Warning, voter checklist and sample ballots can be viewed at the Town Office, the Hyde Post Office, and the Lanpher Memorial Library. The Warning and sample ballots are posted on the town website: https://hydeparkvt.com/agendas-and-notices/
Absentee ballots can be requested by stopping by the office to pick them up, calling the office, emailing Kim@hydeparkvt.com or Krista@hydeparkvt.com or requesting online (https://mvp.vermont.gov). If you need to register to vote, you can do so online (https://mvp.vermont.gov/) or contact the office and we can send you the registration form.
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Friday, August 9th at 1:00pm when the office closes.
If you already have your absentee ballot, they need to be returned no later than 7:00pm on Primary Day. They can be mailed to PO Box 98, Hyde Park, VT 05655, dropped in the night drop or brought to the polls before 7:00pm on Primary Day.
The Town Clerk's office will be CLOSED Monday and Tuesday, August 12th and 13th to prepare for and manage the Primary. The office will reopen on Wednesday, August 14th.
