Vermonters are rallying around Henry, a local four year old with a rare, severe, degenerative neurological disease called AHC.
AHC causes Henry to have life threatening seizures, breathing issues, and temporary paralysis near daily. Henry's parents started a non-profit called For Henry AHC to raise the $3M necessary to treat him and are developing a treatment for him now with Boston Children's Hospital. They have raised $1.65M so far, but are in need of the remaining $1,4M before Henry can be treated.
Many local businesses have come together to donate food and auction items for this event which includes a concert from Kat Wright and band. Food is from Prohibition Pig, American Flatbread, Folinos, Pizzeria Veritas, August First, Jasper Hill Farm, Ben and Jerry's, Cold Hollow Cider Mill and beverages from Snow Farm, Zero Gravity, and Whistle Pig. All adults are welcome to attend this event and become a part of Henry's village, you absolutely do not need to personally know Henry or his family to come. Auction items include NHL signed jerseys, Red Sox tickets, custom local artwork, and many gift cards to local restaurants and shops. Please spread the word and consider joining us for a perfect Vermont summer evening to help save a little boy's life!
