Opioid Response Seminar at Stowe Free Library

Past event
Aug 15, 2024, 5 to 6 PM

As many of us are well aware, the opioid crisis has been harming Vermonters across the state for far too long. As of the end of April 2024, there have been 52 opioid-related accidental and undetermined deaths among Vermont residents (Source: Vermont Department of Health). Now is your chance to help your community face this crisis.

The Northeast Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional Center will be providing an Opioid Response Seminar at the library on Thursday, August 15 at 5pm. This seminar will teach people how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose, how and when to use Narcan to save a life, and talk about where Vermonters can find harm reduction supplies and services for people who use drugs and their families.

This is a free seminar, no registration required. You can contact the library at 802-253-6145 with any questions.
