Rik Palieri and George Mann, featuring songs from the Almanac Trail, will entertain at Tuesday Night Live on August 13th at the Legion Field, Johnson from 6 to 8:30 PM. With help from the Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie Archives, the two modern-day troubadours are following in the footsteps of the old Almanacs. With banjos and guitars and a bag full of union songs, Rik Palieri and George Mann sing the music of 70 years ago and invite local musicians to join in, as in the original tour.

The Almanac Trail will be like an old-fashioned "Hootenanny" — an evening of history, music and fun for all generations!

It is free, just bring a blanket or chair. Food vendors on site. Come early to get a slice of your favorite pie or a piece of Alice's chocolate cake before the Historical Society runs out. All are welcome except no dogs are allowed on the field. Rain or shine. It is only lightning and thunder that stops the music.
