There will be a First Responder Meet and Greet Day at Allenholm Farm, 110 South Street, South Hero, Saturday August 17 from 11am-3pm. This is a free event with outdoor activities for all ages, including 150 ft inflatable obstacle course, put out a "house fire", tour Fire Trucks, Ambulances, and law enforcement vehicles. First Responder agencies attending include Grand Isle Sheriff's Department, South Hero, Grand Isle, North Hero, Isle La Motte and Alburgh Fire and Rescue Departments, Vermont State Police, Vermont Game Warden, and the BeSmart program.
