The Waterbury Democratic Town Committee is holding its caucus to nominate Justices of the Peace to run in November on Monday, August 12 at 6:30 pm in the SAL Room at the Waterbury Public Library.

What does a Justice of the Peace do?
- act as local elections officials to support free and fair elections in each community
- hear tax abatements and assessments to provide a transparent & responsive process
- administer oaths
- perform marriages

This is a great way to serve your community! Candidates should be 18 years of age or older, candidates must be a resident of Waterbury, and candidates must agree to run as Democrats.
