Do you love to sing? Can you match pitch? No auditions necessary! The Bennington County Choral Society invites you to attend our first rehearsal, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at 6:30-9:00 pm, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 108 School Street, Bennington. There is no cost to attend your first rehearsal. If you choose to sing in the concert, you can pay for membership dues and music fees at that time: $135 for the full year (two concerts) or $75 for the upcoming concert only.
The first concert of our 2024-2025 season is entitled Magnificat, and includes Hodie Christus natus est, Willan; Ave Maria, Biebl; Glow, Whitacre; In Natalie Domini, Praetorious; The Snow, Elgar; Gently Falling, Dukeshier; Ecce Nocum, Gjeilo; Away in a Manger, Davis; and Magnificat, Davis. This will be presented on December 8, 2024 at Sacred Heart St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Bennington. Details of our Spring 2025 concert are not yet final.
