At our recent retreat the SB School Board decided to utilize this forum to provide bi-monthly updates to our community (you!) and to highlight upcoming meeting topics that you may want to engage with.

Our next meeting is August 7th at 6pm at the District Office, 577 Dorset Street. There is also a virtual option available and a link for that can be found at the top of the agenda, or the "Event URL" on this post.

We have recently implemented a QR code on the agenda that you can scan with a smartphone to access all of the relevant documents for that meeting.

At our upcoming meeting we will be welcoming our new Junior Student Board Representative, Ally Leduc! We will be receiving an update about the Safe Routes to School Task Force, and discussing the formation of a Finance Committee. We will also be taking action to monitor policy 2.6 Emergency Superintendent Succession and a Side Letter with the South Burlington Educators Association, Educational Support Professional Unit regarding School Bus Drivers.
