The next Moretown Energy Committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov 12th at 6:30 pm at the Moretown School. All Moretown residents are welcome and encouraged to to attend.
The main purpose of this meeting is to brainstorm ideas for what we would like to accomplish in the coming year (2015) as the town’s energy committee.
What are the issues, concerns, and/or opportunities related energy efficiency, renewable energy, conserving resources, lowering energy costs, or other energy related needs of the community that the group would like to discuss and prioritize toward an action plan for 2015.
Please bring your ideas and enthusiasm to help us chart a plan for what we would like to accomplish in the coming 12 months and beyond.
Topics could include:
• Investigating a municipal solar installation
• Promoting more home energy retrofits and solar installations
• Supporting the school and town in lowering energy costs
• Hosting another community event like last year’s “Spring into Moretown” festival
• ………….other topics of interest……….
