MadDog Meet Up next Tuesday the 6th!

Next Tuesday August 6th, MadDog TU members and anyone who'd like to join in to meet for great beer and food at The Blackback Pub in Waterbury.

We would normally fish the Little River below the Waterbury Reservoir Dam. However, that river is now let's say very off color.. ok it looks like gross chocolate milk! So we'll forgo angling and meet at The Blackback at 6:00 P.M.

We'll still have time to tell fish stories, tear into one of their mighty fine menu and order up fine beer!

Since the Little is still too high and just plain a mess one could look towards the upland waters perhaps try the Miller Brook next to Nebraska Notch Road in Stowe. Take your time on the river since these are all wild trout here!

Be aware of all the changes that have happened in the last month due to the heavy flood waters! This means look for wood debris in the rivers and streams, wade carefully and know that many folks, maybe our members and close friends are continuing to recover!
