Tuesday, August 6th - Forest Station

Forest Station, a rising Vermont bluegrass band, brings their tight harmonies, energetic instrumentals, and captivating stage presence to the Cabot Arts Summer Music Series.
In addition to putting fresh twists on classic Americana bluegrass tunes, the band will showcase their new album, "Earth Tones," recorded in Vermont last fall and released in early April.

Vermont Trio – Québecois, French and Cajun tunes

Vermont's own Va-et-vient includes Carol Reed on voice, guitar and mandolins, Suzanne Germain on voice and percussion, and Lausanne Allen on voice, fiddles, flutes, and mandolins. With backgrounds rich in French cultures and language, through lifelong experiences living and traveling in French-speaking lands, they create beautiful harmonies, teaching and engaging audiences.

Tuesday, August 20th - Footworks
High-energy Gaelic music of Cape Breton Island

Inspired by the high-energy Gaelic music of Cape Breton Island, 'Footworks' is a Vermont-based instrumental band. With Jacob Brillhart on fiddle, Jon Brillhart on whistle, and Tory Heft on guitar, 'Footworks' performs Celtic music. This trio inhabits the traditional Celtic songs, rollicking fiddle, lovely Irish whistle and strong guitar rhythm.

Tuesday, August 27th - Christine Malcolm and Kate Brook Romp
Original Country Blues & Americana Music

Christine Malcolm, Rudy Dauth, Fran Forim and Hank Clark make up The Kate Brook Romp, described as "acoustic northern Vermont-grass originals with a high note of country blues."
