Sharing this event for my dear friend, Francesca Arnoldy, a local community doula who will be leading this workshop at the Hinesburg Library on August 15.
"Do you know anyone who has experienced loss? More than likely we all do...and we will again in the future. Loss, like love, is part of our mortal journey.
Join us for an inspiring workshop, which will help bolster your courage and understanding of grief so we can show up when people are down and offer skillful, sensitive support as neighbors, friends, or loved ones. We'll discuss the language of grief, including what to say and phrases to avoid, and how to offer a kind presence and practical assistance to the bereaved."
