Hello - A couple of weeks ago, we alerted Chittenden-13 members to a public meeting in South Burlington on hospital sustainability. For those of you who couldn't make it, there is a statewide virtual meeting scheduled for Monday, August 5th, from 6-7:30 pm. As background, Act 167 (2022 ) required GMCB and the Agency of Human Services, to develop and conduct a data-informed, patient-focused, community-inclusive engagement process for Vermont's hospitals to reduce inefficiencies, lower costs, improve population health outcomes, reduce health inequities, and increase access to essential services. This work is culminating now with community meetings and ultimately a report with recommendations in the fall.
