August 6th TEKE::TEKE, a Montreal-based Japanese psych-rock group will be on the Tuesday Night Live Outdoor stage from 6 to 8:30 PM. The band creates a sound reminiscent of 1960's and 70's era psychedelic Japanese soundtracks as they tour the USA and Canada. The music is a mixture of Japanese folk rock called Eleki, Brazilian surf rock and psychedelia. TEKE::TEKE is known for its genuinely unique sound.
Tuesday Night Live at the Legion Field on School Street, Johnson is free every Tuesday through August thanks to support of local businesses. Food vendors on site. Just bring a chair or blanket and maybe an umbrella. Rain or shine, only lightning and thunder stop the music. Sorry, no dogs allowed on the field. Information 802 730 2943.
