November's Ward 1 NPA Meeting will start 7.00 p.m., Wednesday, Nov 12th, in the McClure Lobby Conference Room at Fletcher Allen. Free parking in the McClure Parking Garage, courtesy of FAHC.

This will be a notable Meeting for two reasons:

1).Our first NPA Meeting with our Ward 8 neighbors: Welcome to them.
2).Mayor Weinberger joins us to discuss topics on his mind, and plenty of ours.

Agenda:
7.00 p.m.: Welcome and Introductions.
7.05: City Council Update, Sharon Bushor, Selene Colburn.
7.20: Speak Out.
7.30: Welcome and Introduction to Ward 8 NPA.
7.45: Kesha Ram, CEDO, introduces the City's "Diversity and Equity Strategic Plan".
8.15: Mayor Weinberger will join us to discuss: Burlington Telecom, Champlain Parkway, Pension Reform, Neighborhood Quality of Life.
To which we have also requested he be prepared to speak on:
~Housing Action Plan (Brian Pine also plans to be with us).
~Strategic Sidewalk Plan. (This was requested before we discovered that the Old Plan, to which so many of us contributed, is being replaced with a New Plan without action having been taken on Ward 1 sidewalks in the six years between "Plans".)
Anything else on your mind? "Taft"? Busing? Grove St Development? "Four Unrelateds"?
Q&A the most valuable part of such a visit.
