OLLI PRESENTS: IS PUBLIC BANKING A GOOD IDEA FOR VERMONT?

Osher Lifelong Learning Institute brings Gwen Hallsmith, Executive Director, Public Banking Institute, and former director of planning and community development in Montpelier to explain and discuss what the concept of public banking is and how it would affect Vermont.

This presentation will take place at Barre’s Aldrich Library on Wednesday, November 12 at 1:30 p.m.

And next week – November 19 – OLLI will present Hilari Farrington and Benedict Koehler discussing and playing Music and Tales of the Otherworld: Folklore, Fairies, and Music in Ireland.
