The Lake Champlain Dragon Boat Festival is almost here (August 3-4) and I hope to see you on the Waterfront — if not in a boat, then cheering on the racers! The festival is a charity event to support cancer survivors in our community, the programs of Dragonheart Vermont, and this year's pledge partner Osher Integrative Oncology at UVM Cancer Center.
You can support folks by purchasing Pick-Your-Prize-Tickets on-line (see link below) through 8/1, and on-site at the Waterfront on 8/3 and 8/4. This is your chance to win gift certificates from over 80 local businesses! Each prize bucket is work well over $100 and several are valued in the $400-500 range.
