If you don't have any plans for Saturday night, put on your dancing shoes and head to the Dancing Pig Music Festival.
If you do have plans for Saturday night, cancel them and head to the Dancing Pig Music Festival instead.
You'll be glad you did!
The Dancing Pig Music Festival, commonly referred to as the best day of the summer, will take place on July 27 at Glinnis Hill Farm in Northfield from 4-10 pm. There will be 6 bands and wood fired pizza from Fieldstone Farm. Music ranges from folk to brass to indie to rock and includes the bands: Ried Parsons, Erin Cassels-Brown, Katy Hellman, Brass Balagan, Bread Boy, and Rusty Mullet.
There is a $20 suggested donation at the door but don't let money be a barrier. 100% of proceeds go towards funding the farm's free "solidarity" CSA program. This year the farm is feeding 30 families that otherwise could not afford local vegetables.
