Household Hazardous Waste Collection - Barnet Transfer Station - Wednesday, July 31, 2024 - 3 to 7 p.m.

The Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) event originally planned for July 10 has been rescheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 31. There is a limit of 25 gallons of material so if you have more than that, call the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD) at 802-626-3532 to make an appointment for a Tuesday or Thursday at 224 Church St in Lyndonville. With all HHW events there are no appointments needed and it is open to all residents of the district, first come, first served. NEKWMD reserves the right to close the event early if storage capacity is reached. No after hours dumping allowed! The Barnet Transfer Station doesn't take HHW any other time, so please contact NEKWMD to make an appointment for disposal or ask us when our next event will be.
