NEKWMD is conducting another Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) collection event. This one is coming right up on August 3rd from 8am-11am at the Greensboro recycling station. HHW events require no appointments, first come, first served. We reserve the right to close the event early if storage capacity is reached. All our services including HHW collection are for residents of the district only. Check to be sure your town is in the district before showing up.
There is a limit of 25 gallons of material a resident can bring to an event. If you have more than that, call us at 802-626-3532 to make an appointment for a Tuesday or Thursday here at 224 Church St in Lyndonville.
No after hours dumping of materials allowed! Greensboro recycling station doesn't take HHW any other time, so please contact us to make an appointment for disposal or ask when our next event will be. NEKWMD offers HHW collection by appointment until October 3rd of this year so there's still plenty of opportunities to make sure these toxic substances are never, ever put in the garbage or poured down the drain.
