Next Saturday morning, August 3, is the Red Rocks 5k, at Red Rocks Park. This event is one of the main fundraisers for the Green Mountain Athletic Association Scholarship, one of which was awarded to an SBHS graduate last week. Strong participation in GMAA races allowed us to increase the scholarship from $1,000 to $1,500. Entry is $20 – dirt cheap compared to some other races, and includes the race and post-race refreshments, as well as a raffle and prizes for top finishers. Register at www.gmaa.run
