There will be a Bottle, Can & Cash Drive for Rutland County Humane Society at the Poultney Transfer Station, 611 Hillside Rd., on August 3rd, 9AM-2PM. Any bottles, cans and cash dropped off at the Transfer Station the week of July 29 will also be donated to the Humane Society. The RCHS is also in need of canned kitten food, soft dog treats, kongs (all sizes), cat and dog toys, paper towels and copy paper. Please be generous to this wonderful organization. You do NOT need to be a Poultney resident to drop off returnable containers. Thank you!
