Are you thinking of getting an electric vehicle? Are you curious about how they work, how much they cost, and available rebates and subsidies? Then you should attend the LEAP Electric Vehicle Fest on Wednesday, August 14, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury.

You'll see 15 to 20 different EVs and plug-in hybrids such as Teslas, VWs, Mustangs, Silverados, Nissans, Subarus, Ford F-150s, Bolts, and many others, and hear directly from experts and owners about their cars. Dave Roberts from Drive Electric Vermont will talk about the latest developments in EVs and charging. You'll also see a range of electric lawn equipment, and some cool electric bikes too!

This free event is hosted by the volunteers of Waterbury LEAP (Local Energy Action Partnership). No RSVP required. This has become a very popular annual gathering and 150-200 people usually attend.

If you own an EV and would like to share your experience with your neighbors, please email Alayna at alaynahoward@gmail.com. Each owner stands by their car for a little while and answers any questions folks might have. No auto dealers are involved.

Interested in skipping trips to the gas station, saving money, and helping the planet? Then come to the LEAP Electric Vehicle Fest, Wednesday, August 14, 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury. For more info contact Alayna at alaynahoward@gmail.com
