Cooling the Climate through Land Management in your own back yard -- We will have a morning session with a speaker; lunch; several speakers early afternoon; tea and cookies; and several sessions of speakers until 5:30.
We will be learning about the new understanding of how land management, ie the water cycle and soil carbon, affects global heat dynamics. We'll learn about the soil sponge, and how plants and microbes work together. We will learn how to apply these principles to growing our own food, and creating habitat for the all-important insects and birds that support us in turn.
