The Corner School Resource Center of Granville, VT is proud to announce its final workshop for our 2024 Summer Happenings series: Mini Murals with Meg!
Granville based muralist and textile artist Meg Reinhold draws inspiration from herbalism, folklore and traditional textile practices. Her two-day workshop combines insight into the design process, the history of Vermont barn quilts, and looking at plants through the eyes of a botanist-artist.
Meg will also guide participants as each of them paints a 2 foot x 2 foot mini mural inspired by quilts and local flora. Everyone leaves with a decoratively painted plywood panel of their own design to install outdoors or inside their homes.
Quilting, gardening, and arts enthusiasts, this is the workshop for you! Space is limited so sign up today! 16 years old and up. All materials provided. Sponsored in part by Vermont Humanities, the workshop is FREE though donations are always welcome.
