This Saturday, July 27: Enter this year's blueberry pie contest at the Craftsbury Farmers Market's Vermont Blueberry Festival! "Blueberry Pie" is up to your own interpretation, as long as blueberries are the main ingredient. Judges will follow their gut, literally, and judge each pie on appearance, flavor, texture and memorability. A $50 Farmer's Market Money prize (plus lots of glory) will go to the winner!

Report to the pie contest table by 10:30 to complete an entry form and drop off your pie. Be sure to have your pie in/on a disposable plate so Kris doesn't need to track you down after the contest! One entry per person please and sorry, market vendors may not enter. All pies will be auctioned off to benefit the Hardwick Area Food Pantry's Craftsbury Food Share. So whether you enter the contest or not, be sure to come admire the delicious pies and (perhaps!) be the lucky high bidder that gets to bring home a tasty treat while supporting an important community organization.
