Socially Responsible Investing is an investment strategy that aims to effect social change while generating financial returns for the investor. Socially responsible investments can be used to support companies making a positive sustainable or social impact and avoid those which make e negative impact. Jesse Gerstin and Prentiss R. Smith will present Purpose-Driven Portfolios: Understanding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Criteria in Investing at 7 pm on Monday, July 22nd in the Community Meeting Room of Brooks Memorial Library . Brief presentations will be followed by an opportunity for questions and discussion.
