Inklings is excited to welcome Vermont author Angela Burke Kunkel on Saturday, August 17th at 10am for a reading of her brand new book, WORLD MORE BEAUTIFUL.

This beautiful, lyrical picture book details the life and art of celebrated children's book creator and two-time Caldecott Medalist, Barbara Cooney. Her character Miss Rumphius said, "You must do something to make the world more beautiful." And that is exactly what Barbara did.

Following the reading, there will be a watercolor flower craft for the children!!

Angela Burke Kunkel is also the author of "Digging for Words: José Alberto Gutiérrez and the Library He Built," an ALA-ALSC Notable Children's Book and winner of both the Américas Award and International Latino Book Award.
