Kind and gentle hour-long performance at Senior Center during Holiday Bazaar. Suitable for all ages! For all of you who are fans of No Strings Marionette Company, (and if you aren't yet, you will be!), they have generously agreed to come back again this year for another "by donation" amazing show in support of our event. Nineteen exquisitely handcrafted marionettes are featured in one of Russia's most beloved folk tales. Better than Frozen, locally-produced, live, and lovely! Last year's show was a huge hit, and Barb and Dan linger long afterwards to allow the audience to interact with the puppets. A puppet craft activity for children will follow. The Holiday Bazaar runs 9 am - 4 pm, so come early and/or stay late! Have fun, find baked and other food, great gifts (and raffle items) from 23 diverse vendors, and support area seniors... this is a fundraising event to support our vibrant center that makes healthy aging, lifelong learning and delicious dining possible for 1000 area seniors. Funds are raised though vendor table rentals, food and some gift sales, raffle ticket purchases, and donations for "Snow Maiden" (Free, but suggested donation of $10 or $20 for a family, or whatever you are able to give is appreciated). Throughout the day, family-friendly holiday films will also be shown.
