The Sharon Democratic Committee is looking for candidates to serve as Justices of the Peace in the Town of Sharon. The Town of Sharon can elect up to five (5) Justices of the Peace.

Justices of the Peace responsibilities include to:
. act as local elections officials to support free and fair elections
. hear tax abatements and assessments to provide a transparent & responsive process
. administer oaths
. perform marriages

Please note that an earlier post stated the Town of Sharon can have up to seven (7) Justices of the Peace.
