Our next volunteer work session is this Saturday, July 20th, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. We will also have a Saturday morning work sessions on 8/3.

Location:
The garden is located in the yard behind the Waterbury Common Market at 57 S. Main St in Historic Waterbury Village. Please park along the street.

Supplies:
We have a few basic garden tools onsite. If you have them, please bring your own gloves, trowel, weeding tool, and bucket.

More about this UVM Extension Master Gardener project site:
This is an educational garden at Waterbury Common Market, a food resource for food-insecure community members from towns in the Waterbury area. The garden has beds of vegetables, herbs, fruit, and flowers. Educational programming provided by EMG volunteers teaches community members how to grow and prepare their own food. EMG volunteers partner with the Waterbury Common Market by providing gardening workshops, creating educational materials such as signage and handouts, and maintaining the garden.

Hope to see you soon at The Garden at the Waterbury Common Market!
