VT Primary - Vote Now Through Aug. 13!

Past event
Aug 13, 2024, 7 AM to 7 PM

According to the Secretary of State's office, the August 13th Primary could be a low-turnout election with ⅓ fewer ballot requests compared to 2022.

Our local elections are critically important to our schools and our community as a whole, and we have candidates on the ballot who have spent years serving both. This is a contested race and the choices we make here in Burlington will have lasting consequences.

Because Primary ballots will not be automatically mailed, you must request one in advance or plan to show up to your polling location on Tuesday, August 13th to vote in person.

To get a ballot, visit: https://mvp.vermont.gov/ or go to the Burlington City Clerk's office at 149 Church Street. The hours there are Mon - Fri from 8am - 4:30pm. The Clerk's office will close at 1pm on Monday, August 12th to officiate the election on Tuesday, August 13th.
