Learn how to bareroot and transplant seedlings to avoid Jumping Worms and other pests

Your generous neighbor just offered you some free plants from their garden. How can you be sure they are free of Jumping Worms or other pests? Learn an effective way to safely transfer those beautiful plants from your neighbor's garden to your own. We will be giving away free seedlings from the New Haven Community Pollinator Garden and demonstrating the simple procedure. All plants are pollinator magnets and include many natives. Bring your own trowel, plastic containers for collecting plants or small pots with sterile potting soil to put them in directly, plant tags to identify them, hat and drinking water.

If you do not have time to collect all that you want, there will be some plants already transplanted from last week and packets of seeds collected from the garden for sale.
