The White River Land Collaborative is celebrating the heart of summer with an Open House & Burger Night in collaboration with Flying Dog Farm. Come learn more about our work to increase farmland access and farm viability in Vermont, and get to know other local organizations who will be tabling. Enjoy good food, good company, Brocklebank beer, and beautiful views of the First Branch Valley.
Flying Dog Farm (with Chef Hugo Yanez) will be cooking up burgers featuring their certified organic grass-fed beef along with homemade veggie burgers, Luna Bleu Farm's organic salad greens, hand-cut french fries, and non-alcoholic drinks. Kiss the Cow will be serving up ice cream. All will be available for purchase.
DJ Sarah Yetter of Royalton Community Radio will have music to get you moving. Enjoy a chair massage from Metta Massage & Bethany Fleishman Massage Therapy, and acupuncture from Caiius Clark acupuncture, all offered on a sliding scale. Or just sit and chill! There is sure to be something for everyone.
Parking is limited so please carpool if you can, and bring a blanket or chair to sit. Please remember to leave your pets at home.
