When: July 18, 2024, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM

This Thursday and every consecutive Thursday through the 2024 summer season, the Rotary Club of Waterbury presents FREE musical concerts at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Downtown Waterbury. This 42nd "Concert in the Park" series is believed to be the longest consecutive running FREE to the public cultural arts series of its type in Vermont.

This week, the "Lewis Creak Bluegrass Band" will be performing Classic country and oldies…..a mix of an American rock band/Celtic with the Great Highland Bagpipe music to listen to and enjoy.

Come join us with family and friends that will be bringing their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic supper. Come early and shop from the numerous food vendors and booths set up at the Waterbury Farmer's Market, 4:00 - 7:00 pm. During the concert "The Udder Guys" cart will be set up selling refreshing ice cream. See you there and pick up a full schedule of this year's musical performers and please play our weekly 50/50 Raffle with the proceeds going to support concert expenses.

For the safety of the performers, Farmers Market vendors and the crowd…please remind guests and your children that unleashed dogs, bike riding, ball playing, climbing on structures and trees, and running through the gardens or crowd are prohibited during the event.

On Thursday, July 25th, " PRYDEIN " will be performing a mix of American rock and Celtic music with the Great Highland Bagpipe.

The weather outlook is finally for a clear, sunny Thursday. However, if inclement weather threatens the performance, listen to WDEV Radio Thursday afternoons for notification of cancellation.
