Ecstatic Dance Benefit for Flood Relief *this* Wednesday July 17, 7-9pm at the Capital City Grange - 6612 VT Rte 12 just south of Montpelier. $10-20+ suggested donation, no one turned away for lack of funds, free entry for displaced folks.
Come experience one of the most lovely and spacious dance floors in VT while supporting our beloved community! Proceeds go towards organizations supporting those most impacted by last week's floods. This dance is a collaboration between Blossom Wellness Studio's weekly Wed dance, the every-other Wed Dreamland dance (relocated due to severe flood road damage) and the every Friday Montpelier dance. Please spread the word to make this a big success - let's move some energy and be together in this moment!
In Ecstatic Dance there is a curated playlist that follows a "wave" format (starting slow, building energy, reaching a peak, and then coming back down the other side, finally ending in stillness). There is no instruction or talking during the wave, just space to move to the music as you please in a space free from judgement.
