"Joy, curiosity, comfort and inspiration" - these are the gifts of birdwatching according to Clare Walker Leslie whose most recent book, "How to Look at a Bird" is a step-by-step guide for getting involved in this fast-growing hobby.

But birds are just the beginning. The renowned author of fifteen books, Clare's enthusiasm for the natural world will change the way you see ALL of the wildlife right in your own backyard.

Meet Clare and learn to create a Nature Journal when the Corner School brings her back to Granville for a Nature Hunt!

Come on your own or with the family. A great activity for kids 4 and older! Bring a writing utensil and paper or small notebook. We start inside but hope to be outside too, so wear comfy shoes and be prepared for possibly wet weather.

Do not miss this amazing opportunity to learn from a master! Supported in part by Vermont Humanities, the workshop is FREE. Donations welcome! For more info, contact Kate at vtcornerschool@gmail.com.
