This a reminder that the Peacham Church and Meetinghouse is conducting its Summer Food Drive this Saturday, July 20, from 10:00-12:00, in the parking lot. Since our initial announcement of this event, our town, and many surrounding it, have experienced the worst, most tragic natural disaster in recent memory. This has, of course, significantly intensified the need for food donations in Peacham and our area, which was already high beforehand. Needed are any non-perishable, nutritious items. Please be generous, and show the same spirit and willingness to help that was so evident in the amazing, openhearted effort by town and area volunteers in the immediate aftermath of the flood event to help those severely affected- from all of us at the Church and Meetinghouse, huge gratitude to all who pitched in so remarkably. Sincere thanks in advance to all who are able to contribute.
