This is a free 4-week course open to anyone who is interested in learning about Mindfulness Mediation and possibly developing their own meditation practice. Classes will meet weekly on Mondays at 7 PM on Zoom starting July 29, 2024 thru August 19, 2024. Topics covered will be What is Mindfulness, What is Mindfulness Meditation, How to Meditate, Mindfulness of Body, of Thoughts and of Feelings and Compassion as a Practice. There will be guidance for anyone wanting to start their own meditation practice.
This course if offered by Mary Jean Sadlak, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist-Doctorate, who has worked as a psychotherapist in Bennington for more than 35 years. She has a long standing meditation practice and is currently working on completing her Mindfulness Mediation Teacher Certification. These classes are free. All that is asked is that attendees are interested in meditation and willing to commit to attending.
