Panton Tree Committee Meeting and Site Visit (Panton residents are invited to come.)

Agenda

Purpose: Committee Members and interested citizens will meet briefly at the Town Hall with Joanne Garton from the VT Urban and Community Forest Program and then proceed to South Rd off of Jersey St to determine what possibilities exist for tree planting in the ROW.

1. Introductions
2. Questions for the Committee and Joanne
3. Possible plantings at the Town Hall either in the parking area or to the north side of the Town Hall by the ramp.
4. Ask for advice from Joanne regarding the runoff mitigation area off of Adams Ferry Rd in the Town ROW.
5. Site visit to South Rd to determine what possibilities for tree planting are on our only town recreation trail.
6.Set next meeting date
