Come to the Halifax Cafe on July 20th, 10–11 a.m. for an opportunity to meet Emily Carris Duncan, who is running to be the next State Representative for Windham-6, which is the district of Halifax, Whitingham, and Wilmington.
All are welcome at the Cafe -- not just Halifax residents. There is coffee and tea, and always a delicious selection of baked goods and conversation.
As the current Rep for our district who's not running for re-election (my second child is coming any day now) I'm excited to get to know Emily. I've been listening to hear her vision for representation of our three small towns, and I've been sharing with her my story. I hope you'll do the same.
Emily grew up in Rutland and makes Whitingham her home with husband Corey. I'll let Emily introduce herself more on July 20th -- bring your questions and bring your stories.
I'll also be on hand to take your questions about the 2024 session, veto override votes, and anything you've got on your mind.
