Join Cambridge Conservation Commission members Jake Bailey, Jayne Lukens, & local art teacher Keri-Anne Lesure for a morning of noticing, hearing, identifying, and painting the birds around us! This is very much a slow birding event. Meet behind the Cambridge Community Center at the gazebo and we'll set up near the river bank, identify birds from the scrubby habitat, and paint them from sight and/or bird guides. We will provide watercolor pencil kits, pencils, and journals for each participant. Please bring a chair or towel (something comfortable to paint from), sun & bug protection, and a jar for paint water if you have one.
