The Calais Selectboard will hold a special joint meeting with the Calais Development Review Board on Monday, July 15, 2024, 7:00 pm, at the Calais Town Hall and via Zoom, to facilitate dialog between the bodies regarding respective roles, the considerations that inform decisions, and to discuss opportunities to improve the communication, tools, and resources needed to do their work effectively in service to the community.

To promote the participation of each Board and its respective members, Gus Seelig will serve as Moderator of this joint meeting and will guide discussion through the following agenda:

7:00 – Call to Order, review objectives for the meeting and introductions
7:10 – Roles of DRB and Selectboard, and interconnectivity with other Town bodies
7:30 – Vision for the Town
7:45 – Planning and opportunities for the future
8:15 – Public Comment*
8:30 – Adjourn

* It is respectfully requested that public comments be kept relevant to the topics listed on the agenda and the associated discussion. Members of the public who prefer to submit a written comment for the record are encouraged to do so by sending them to the Selectboard Administrator (SBadmin@calaisvermont.gov), and they will be included as attachments to the final meeting minutes.
