Hello Ward 5 Neighbors,

As was announced at the last Ward 5 NPA meeting, there will be a public meeting tonight to update residents on the progress of the South End Innovation District redevelopment efforts. This meeting is a standalone event due to our Summer recess of traditional NPA meetings, though please mark your calendar for the afternoon of Saturday, July 20th, for an NPA-sponsored outdoor barbecue and community gathering at Calahan Park, with a focus on safe street design.

Back to tonight's meeting: the South End Coordinated Redevelopment project (SECORD, or the South End Innovation District, SEID) will be meeting tonight, July 11 at 6:30pm, 175 Lakeside Ave (Champlain College Miller Center): Rooms 101+102. In addition, there is now a Zoom link available for those who cannot attend in person.

This will be a great opportunity to both hear about the status of the project, and also offer constructive ideas about how to make this new mixed use neighborhood a true jewel of the South End. Hope to see you there!
