The Annual Meeting of the ILM Historical Society is to be held on
Friday, July 12, 2024 - 6:30 P.M. at the Goodsell Ridge Barn on Quarry Rd. Isle La Motte.

The topic of our presenter will be "History & Shipwrecks, a Legacy from Lake Champlain" - A reflection on 40 years as an underwater detective.

Our guest speaker is Mr. Art Cohn, Director Emeritus of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, and a scholar of the Institute of Nautical Archaeology at Texas A & M University. Tonight, we will learn about the historical significance of several shipwrecks lying at the bottom of Lake Champlain; where they came from, how they got there, and how they were discovered.
