We began our vigil back in early May and have been meeting weekly, every Friday from 4 pm-5 pm (rain or shine) at The Fish in front of the State Office Building on Main St, in Newport.

We are gathering to peacefully bring awareness to the ongoing genocide in Palestine, to protest the US government's funding of the genocide and to garner support for the people of Palestine/Gaza.

We invite you to join us as often as you are able, or would like to. Signs are welcome, and should reflect our purposes (Please, no anti-Israeli sentiments on signs or banners) Our vigils are peaceful and aimed at shedding light on this humanitarian crisis.
